Making Ginger Bread Houses

this morning we invited some friends over to make ginger bread houses with us

LOTS of candy...

Carrie constructed a sign in the "front yard" of her house. She was originally going to write, WELCOME on the sign, but wisely shortened it to two letters instead of six! "Hi" seems more original anyway... :)

Getting our Christmas Tree...

As we do every year, Dad took us all out to get our Christmas tree.

We have gotten a lot of snow lately; everything was covered in white!

Carrie was walking out on our beach the other day took these pictures... (yes, these are all pictures she took). She got some amazing shots of the bald eagles! She's very good at photographing birds!
