Some of us, found some very interesting ways to pick berries!

"Mom, don't drive off the cliff!"The sun came out yesterday afternoon and we took advantage of the nice day and drove up Brown Mountain to go blueberry picking. The berries were ripe and beauitful! We ended up picking for about 2 and 1/2 hours and got a large pot full of berries. It started to rain later in the afternoon so we drove back home. When we got home, we stuck the berries in the freezer. Mom is going to use them to make jam and syrup.
I am so glad that you were able to get blueberries this year. The last summer that we were there it was so cold that we didn't get any!

That picture of blueberries is one of my favorites on your blog...Maybe my favorite! That's something we can't do down here!
